At Gift Better ("we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Gift Better mobile application (the "App").

We prioritize your privacy by minimizing data collection.

A. Local Data (Stored on Device)

The vast majority of the data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. This includes:

• Holiday Data: Names, dates, and budgets of holidays you create.
• Recipient Data: Names, relationships, and notes about people you buy gifts for.
• Gift Data: Gift titles, prices, links, notes, and statuses.
• Preferences: App settings, theme choices, and "Demo Mode" status.

We do not have access to this local data. It remains on your device unless you choose to back it up via Apple's iCloud service.

B. Usage Data (Analytics)

We use third-party analytics tools (specifically Firebase Analytics and RevenueCat) to help us understand how the App is used and to improve its functionality. This data is anonymized and aggregated. It may include:

• Device type and operating system version.
• App crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us fix bugs.
• Feature usage statistics (e.g., "How many users used the PDF Export feature today?").
• Subscription status (to verify Pro access).

We do not track your specific gift items, names of your recipients, or personal notes in our analytics.
